Here is Annika helping with the garden. Some of our veggies got a bit too big again this year due to our lack of staying ontop of the garden. The beans were HUGE and the zucchini got a bit large, as well!
Annika is sporting her "ballerina" pose in her leotard. She is going to be taking beginner ballet lessons this fall through our community rec program. She is REALLY EXCITED!!!!
Maren is a happy baby. She enjoys being around the rest of us, no matter what we are up to. She spends lots of time on her play blanket in the kitchen. Annika took this picture of Maren just yesterday.
Maren loves books. She turns the pages and really follows along when we read to her. I am amazed at how much she seems to be taking it all in. She has started taking part in our nightly book reading with Annika, too.
And we found a jumperoo on Craig's list for Maren. She is sort of interested in it. She will spend more time in it when Annika is playing with her. I'm not sure, but I think Annika likes it more than Maren!
